किसानों की आय की वृद्धि के लिए आई.सी.ए.आर. नेटवर्किग प्रोजेक्ट "बागवानी की पैदावार और गुणवत्ता बढ़ाने के लिए पौधों में सूक्ष्म पोषक प्रबंधन" के तहत ग्राम बेड़िइयाखेड़ा, मॉल, लखनऊ में वैज्ञानिक कृषक वार्ता का आयोजन दिनांक 07 सितंबर 2017 को किया गया। डॉ देवेंद्र पांडे, डॉ नीलिमा गर्ग, डॉ तरूण अदक, डॉ राम कुमार, डॉ पीके शुक्ला,डॉ ए.के. त्रिवेदी, श्री सुभाष चंद्र और श्री अरविन्द कुमार ने किसानों के साथ बातचीत की तथा सभी प्रासंगिक साहित्य (हिंदी में) को किसानों के बीच वितरित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में किसानों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। डॉ देवेन्द्र पांडे ने पोषण और अतिरिक्त कमाई के लिए गांवों के ऊसर भूमि में बेल और आंवला की बागवानी के लिए प्रेरित किया। डॉ राम कुमार ने गांव में पोषक स्मार्ट उद्यान के विकास के लिए केला की फसल शामिल करने का सुझाव दिया। डॉ तरुण अदक ने किसानों के साथ बातचीत की तथा इस दौरान उन्होंने उन्हें मिट्टी के स्वास्थ्य और गुणवत्तायुक्त फल उत्पादन को बनाए रखने के लिए पोषक तत्वों के, विशेष रूप से सूक्ष्म पोषक प्रबंधन, के लाभ के बारे में सूचित किया। इसके अलावा, किसानों को बेहतर बाग प्रबंधन के लिए ड्रिप सिंचाई प्रणाली को अपनाने हेतु जागरूक किया और मौसम पूर्वानुमान पर आधारित कृषि सलाह सूचना के बारे में भी संवेदनशील किया गया। डॉ नीलिमा गर्ग ने किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए किसानों के फसल कटाई के बाद के प्रबंधन के लिए प्रशिक्षण और फल एवं सब्जियों के मूल्य संर्वधन द्धारा आय वृद्धि आवश्यकता का सुझाव दिया। उन्होंने गूगल प्ले स्टोर पर अपलोडेड कच्चे और परिपक्व आम उत्पादों पर विकसित दो मुफ्त मोबाइल ऐप के विषय में अवगत कराया। डॉ ए के त्रिवेदी ने जल की कमी के दौरान नमी संरक्षण के लिए आच्छादन और आम में जेली बीज नियंत्रण के लिए कैल्शियम क्लोराइड के छिड़काव को अपनाने की सूचना दी। डॉ पी के शुक्ला ने आम और अमरूद कीटों के नियंत्रण उपायों के बारे में बातचीत की और सुझाव दिया।

A scientist-farmers interaction meet was organized at Bhediyakhera village, Maal, Lucknow under the ICAR networking project on “Micronutrient management in Horticultural Crops for Enhancing Yield and Quality” on 7th September, 2017 for improving farmers’ income. Dr Devendra Pandey, Dr Neelima Garg, Dr Tarun Adak, Dr Ram Kumar, Dr PK Shukla, Dr. A K Trivedi, Mr Subhas Chandra and Mr. Arvind Kumar interacted with the farmers. Farmers enthusiastically participated in this programme and all relevant literatures in Hindi were distributed among the farmers. Dr Devendra Pandey emphasized the scope of bael and aonla cultivation in the Usher land of the villages for nutrition and extra earning. Dr Ram Kumar suggested inclusion of banana for developing nutri smart garden in the village. Dr Tarun Adak interacted with the farmers and sensitized them regarding benefits of nutrient particularly micronutrient management for maintaining good soil health and quality fruit production. Further, farmers were also sensitized about adoption of drip irrigation system and real time weather agroadvisory for better orchard management. Dr Neelima Garg suggested the need for training of farmers in post harvest management and value addition for enhancing farmers’ income. She also informed and displayed two free mobile apps developed on raw and ripe mango products on Google Play Store. Dr. AK Trivedi informed to adopt mulching for moisture conservation during dry periods and application of calcium chloride for control of jelly seed formation in mango. Dr P K Shukla interacted and suggested farmers regarding control measures of mango and guava pests.
